GREEN SCHOOL

 

We are currently working towards obtaining our first Green Flag. The Theme for this flag is Litter and Waste.

Our Green Schools Committee consists of pupils and staff and our aim, for the next two years is to REDUCE, REUSE and RECYCLE the waste in our school.

We are trying to REDUCE the amount of waste we produce, REUSE waste e.g. toilet paper rolls for junk art or planting seeds, RECYCLE e.g. batteries and mobile phones. We also held a Cash for Clobber at the beginning of the year. We have a Green School Noticeboard which we keep updated with information, work to date and photos of our school in action.
