Active School Week 2017/18
Our Active School Week took place from 30th April to the 4th May 2018.
Pupils wore their tracksuits to school and had great fun participating in a range of activities. Each class committed to keeping active for 60 minutes each day. We had a variety of visitors into the school over the course of the week to help us achieve our goal.
On Monday
The pupils in Juniors 4, Junior 5, Pre-seniors, Seniors 3 and Seniors 4 enjoyed Athletics. The preschool classes enjoyed the river walk. Seniors 1 enjoying activities in the hall:
On Tuesday
Paul Ryan from the Irish Wheelchair Association visited our school. The pupils in Class 1, 2 and Pre-Seniors had a great time:
On Wednesday
The pupils in Juniors 1, Juniors 2 and Seniors 2 enjoyed Athletics:
On Thursday
The pupils in preschool classes 1-3 enjoyed swimming. Seniors 1-4 enjoyed soccer. Juniors 3, Juniors 6 and Pre-seniors also played soccer together:
