About Us...

  • Our school is situated in the townland of Lisnagry, by the banks of the Mulcaire river, in the village of Annacotty which is ten kilometres from Limerick city on the main Limerick/Dublin road.​ Exit 28 from motorway
     

  • We are in the diocese of Killaloe. In respecting the Catholic ethos, we value cultural and religious diversity within the school community.​ The school building is on the campus of St. Vincent's Centre, Lisnagry.

  • There are 114 pupils ranging in age from 3-18 years. We have 19 teachers, 37 SNAs, a secretary, a caretaker, and a canteen supervisor.

General Information

ST VINCENT'S SCHOOL caters for children between the ages of four and eighteen who have Moderate General Learning Disabilities, Severe & Profound General Learning Disabilities as well as Autistic Spectrum Disorder (A.S.D) with the above diagnoses. We have four pre-school classes for children with Autism from the age of three.

The school follows the Department of Education and Skills Primary Curriculum with a child centered focus. Independent living skills are integral to school life. We are a Regional School (Mid-West). On graduation pupils revert to their own catchment area for Adult Services.
